UPDATE:
Although the entrance to Oakmont/Clear Fork Park is closed for
construction, it is easy to follow the red brick along Bellaire
Park North (to the right of the entrance under construction);
across the cable fence (there is a small pedestrian gap); and down
the clearing to the trail head listed in this description! Check
the pics in my recent Owner Maintenance log entry for visuals.
Don't be timid, GO FOR IT!
This
cache, an offering from the GZrider team of geocaching adventurers,
has a culinary theme!
Take some
of the earth-friendly SWAG and leave some SWAG; but continue the
adventure in your kitchen!
My wife is
an AWESOME cook (in addition to being a wonderful companion, an
accomplished professional portrait photographer; a great mother and
one hot mama). She has put copies of one of her favorite recipes
into this cache for you! If you go huntin’ for this one,
bring along a favorite recipe on a 3X5 card to leave when you take
a Texas Caviar recipe (or email it later if you didn't plan
ahead).
There's a
bonus with this cache too:
-
Take your pic with the camera, log the frame # when you SL, and
leave for the next finder.
-
FTF Congrats to sassyjr!
Watch for wasps, poison ivy
and the usual pests on this trail!
This cache no longer has it's cooking theme or any of the original
items, but it's still a good cache in a cool place.
