Hos Benny var igennem nogle år, et stort samlings sted for unge med hang til benzin i blodet. Her kom de unge (under 18 år) fra hele gl. Tjele kommune og makkede m gl. biler ( til folke race ) knallert og havde også mulighed for at afprøve matrielet under opsyn og ordnede forhold, samt en gang i måneden blev div. Biler transporteret til Løvel Banen ( motorbane ) hvor der så var mulighed for de unge at prøve kræfter mod andre på den officelle bane, stedet her er desværre lukket. Da man fra kommunen mente at det støjede for meget, til stor ærgelse for mange af de unge da det var et fristed, men med faste regler som de unge forstod eller så var man YT .

[GB] In Benny was for some years, a large meeting place for young people to hang with petrol in their blood. Here was the young (under 18 years) from across the gl. Cars transported to Løvel path (engine runway) where there was opportunity for young people to try the forces against others on the official track, this place is unfortunately closed. When the municipality believed that it was too noise, too great for many ambitious young people since it was a sanctuary, but with fixed rules which young people understand.
