Monster Drive - OS Loch Tarff Traditional Cache

One of a series of caches which can easily be done in a days drive around Loch Ness - total distance of approximately 75 miles. The drive is best done in an anticlockwise direction, using the A82 from Inverness to Fort Augustus and the B862/B852 from Fort Augustus to Inverness - this is the best direction to travel for easy parking. All the caches are a short distance from the available parking, unless otherwise stated.

Loch Tarff lies above Loch Ness and is the water supply for Fort Augustus - hence the 'No Swimming' request. At the cache site there is a small rocky hillock at the side of the road with an OS marker on top. There is parking for one car.
