I used to play around this area when I was a kid, but I haven't been back for years, although I drive by the entrance to the walk regularly.
The parking is at N52 25.278 W000 43.167 (where’s the degree button on a standard keyboard ??).
There used to be a working quarry here that I believe was part of Corby Steel Works, and there was a huge abandoned crane which its sheer size used to amaze my friends and I.
Nowadays, part of this area has been converted into a public footpath which my brother Dillon and his dog Bison use, hence the name. Please be aware if you bump into him though, cause he is a little vicious and has a tendency to bite (and the dog isn't much friendlier !!).
Finally I would just like to say, get a move on AP, the clocks tickin......!!
This cache is across the road onto the Newton footpath.
