The cache can be found at Spike Milligan Corner. The area is so named because when Spike Milligan spent some time in New Zealand, he was known to meet a friend on this corner of Philip Myers Park. A seat was installed here in Wadestown's Centenary year (1881-1981) and is known as the "Wadestown Centenary Seat".
The Wadestown library is also located in Philip Myers Park, adjacent to Spike Milligan Corner. While you are here, why not pop into the library to read some of Milligan's works? You can also wander around the small park and admire the planting efforts of the Friends of the Village Green.
The Cache
This is a very busy road, so stealth is required. The cache is now a micro, so you will need your own pen to sign it.
Getting Here
You can catch a number 14 Wilton bus from the bottom of Molesworth St (in front of Parliament Buildings), and I have thoughtfully arranged bus stops on each side of the road right in front of the cache. You can find bus timetables at https://www.metlink.org.nz/timetables/bus/14
If you drive here, be aware that many of the streets around Wadestown are narrow and steep.
