Geocache Description:

A series of caches placed around the grounds of rugby clubs.
Caches will all be outside the grounds in the public domain unless otherwise stated and at this time, all bar one give a view of the rugby posts, a requirement for anyone who would like to extend this series.

Wimbledon’s first recorded match was against Richmond in November 1865, making the club one of the oldest in the country, and one of just twelve surviving clubs that founded the RFU in 1871. Currently playing in London SW3. Wimbledons ground is situated next to Beverley Meads, a nature reserve looked after by the London Wildlife Trust. if you have the time, take it and walk around the surrounding area.

The cache is a small container, with the usual swaps, pencil and logbook. It is situated between the rugby club and the Royal Wimbledon Golf Club.

If you would like to extend this series, please feel free. There are only 3 rules which must be followed;

1. Every effort must be made to place the cache with a view of the pitch or posts.
2. Every effort must be made NOT to use a micro.
3. I don't need to know the number - there aren't any!
Remember - the refs’ decision is final and arguing will just get you a yellow card.
