Geocache Description:

Wandering around Wigan caches are meant to bring you to bits of the town that are rarely seen, there are many paths and areas around Wigan that can easily be missed, hopefully the series will grow to show lots of areas of Wigan not regularly seen.

Take the Path towards Shevington from Crooke Village past the pub (there's only one), from here you can look over towards Standish, and back into Wigan, the path is rising here so you will get some great views shortly further on, it is great how this is so close to a populated area but there is absolutely nothing here, very peaceful, a great area in Wigan.

The container is a screw lock beaker and will take most coins & T.B's, the path ahead splits off, you can either head back in towards the others in the series or continue on towards Gathurst and Shevington.
