Geocache Description:

The Garden of the Groves was built in 1973, and dedicated to Wallace and Georgette Groves, who built Freeport, Grand Bahama. This 12 acre botanical garden, with more than 10,000 species of flowers, shrubs, trees, and exotic plant life, was severely damaged during two hurricanes in 2004. Over the past year, the garden has been undergoing major reconstruction thanks to the Grand Bahama Port Authority and Bahamas Parks, Gardens & Recreation. Erika Gates of Grand Bahama Nature Tours and Michelle Hanson have been the driving force behind the reconstruction. The garden is now open to the public and is again a favorite stop for tourists.

The Garden is located east of Our Lucaya off Midshipman Road, and permission was given to hide this cache adjacent to their property. You are looking for a Tupperware container with a blue lid. It contains a log, pen, fridge magnet, bracelet, key chains and shells. There is a mini CD of Bahamian music for the first to find.
