If you find this cache you have found a great shortcut up the mountain. The road is a little rough but passable in a passenger car.
Not too long ago we discovered this road up the mountain. Before that we use to go all the way down to 64 and then come back up the ridge from there. This short cut will save you a good 10-15 miles or so if you are coming from Etowah direction like we were. Makes it a whole bunch quicker to get the caches up there!
