This cache was placed to highlight a planned park in Sugar Land. The difficulty is low, but it is not a park and grab. Get out and take a look at the area that will be transformed into a wonderful place to play. Bring a pen, this match tube isn't big enough to hold one.
Gannoway Lake is part of the master plan for the Sugar Land Parks department. This area will have a center dedicated to educating visitors on groundwater and its uses. The park will have a wonderful playground, access for fishing, a pavilion, and much more. This site will also be surrounded by a series of hike and bike nature trails. I am unaware of an opening date for the park, but I believe that late 2010 to mid 2011 is the target.
You are looking for a water-proof match container. It is not hard to find and is low enough that any member of your family can grab it. There is no pen, so bring your own. Thanks and I really hope you enjoy the area.
