The cache has nothing to do with the comic strip, but it is hidden in Van Buren "Doones" Open Space.
Tired of all of the micro caches with no room for trade items? Then this cache is for you. It is a bulk size (two gallon) plastic pretzel container hidden in the Van Buren Dunes Open Space on Van Buren St. Lots of space for trade items. There is limited parking on Van Buren St. The hike to this cache from the trail head on Van Buren is very short, but it is a little up and down and through sand. There are two other caches in the dunes here that are slightly longer hikes, including the 3rd oldest active cache in Michigan.
