These guys had great careers; to figure out who they are will take a little knowledge of, hockey and BASEBALL.

One popularized the butterfly style in playing his position. It is commonly used today in the position he became interested in playing at a very early age. (B) Is the age he became interested in this position, plus two. To find (A) you will need to figure out how many games this individual lost in the Olympics. (C) Is the number of the shutouts in the Olympics he is credited with and subtract one. Figuring out how many Conn Smythe Trophies he received and adding 2 will give you (D). Like most athletes he had his peculiarities. He never skated on the blue lines due to superstition. During games he would talk to the net posts – hopefully they never answered back. One of his greatest quotes was a slam back to fellow player’s negative comments: “I can’t really hear what Jeremy says because I’ve got my two Stanley Cup rings plugging my ears.” To find (F) determine the number of letters in his name and subtract one.

I hoped they would retire his number all throughout the ENTIRE league like they did for ‘the great one’, but only two professional athletes hold that distinction in their sport. Take a SECOND and find (E) by multiplying the numbers of the retired JERSEY together and adding one.
