Multi Cache located along the West Penn Trail on the old Atlas Powder Company grounds.
The West Penn Trail is a 17 mile trail from Saltsburg to Blairsville. We decided this area of the trail needed some caches. This is a two stage multi. The first stage is a film canister. The final stage is a Lock and Lock big enough for tradables and TB's.
Stage 1 is a .8 mile walk from the parking coordinates. Stage 2 is .18 mile further. Nice easy walking trail. Keep an eye out for deer and other wildlife. There are new blue bird boxes placed in the area as well. If you can identify any wildlife footprints on the trail, please include that in your log below.
Please wear orange if you attempt this cache in the fall during big game season.
