A pleasant walk along a little-used track alongside Crowden Great Brook. Good views of Laddow Rocks to the west.
The cache is perhaps best approached from brook level, though you can contour round on the faint track if you are steady on your feet! The cache is not in a dangerous place if you are careful.
Note that this is about as far as you can safely get up CGB - proceed further at your peril. The brook is full of rocks, which aren't just ordinary rocks, they are M&S rocks (mossy and slippery)!
