In honor of a crazy dog, as well as one of those famous movie
scenes, here's an ammo can in the woods along Upper Stella Ireland
Road!
Cache is available between 6 AM and sunset; please do not search
for the cache after dark. Expect about a third of a mile hike, one
way, from the parking area to the cache. There is something of a
trail used by fishermen along the reservoir that will get you
pretty close to the cache, though hiking boots or at least old
sneakers are recommended due to the often muddy terrain.
The intent was to place this cache along one of the streams that
feed the reservoir, less than a hundred yards WNW of the cache
location. The cache should be safer from the elements where it
currently is, but if the weather permits, take a walk over to this
point and admire the view.
