You are looking for a 4 ounce clear plastic jar, with a screw top.
No need to destroy vegetation, as no landscaping was installed when
the cache was placed. No tools needed, no screws should be undone,
no doors opened that are not typical household access.
This is a little cache I placed when I had 22 finds. It will hold
multiple geocoins, or a TB with a small traveler. The container is
not as long as some smalls, so no pen/pencil. Bring your own. It is
a two for one bonus location in that it is both the Ridgepoint
pocket park location, with a reasonable playground set and
pavilion, and the south trail head for the new city of The Colony
shoreline trail. Once the trail is complete, it will be over two
miles of decomposed granite trail suitable for walking and bicycles
with wide tires. The trail winds around the shoreline of lake
Lewisville, ending at Stewart Creek Park. There are already a
number of caches placed along the length of the shoreline trail,
most of them placed before trail construction started. I expect
many more to pop up over the next several months..
Now for the disclaimers:
- No hamsters were harmed creating this cache
- No vegetation need to be examined to find this cache
- No tools are needed beyond your GPSr, the stuff between your
ears, and a pen
- No locks need picked
- No fake screws
- No nudists in their natural state are allowed
- No access between sun down, and sun rise!!!!
- Not advised to be found while construction workers are around,
nor others with high curiosity
- No need for access to "Engineering" spaces
- No pink elephants allowed as swag
- No need to retrieve cache for high water. Cache is known to be
higher than lake levels with two feet of water over the spillway.
Trail head will be under water in the same conditions.
- No need to sign the log at the cache. The screw top jar can
easily be taken back to your car, a few steps away.
- No need to complain about coordinates.. They were averaged for
200 seconds on a clear sunny day, with WAAS turned off, on a Garmin
76Csx
- No need to hesitate with complaints about coordinates. I am
dyslexic, and sometimes fail to copy and paste
- No need to write 700 words in the logs, as this cache is not
worth it
- No need to feel guilty about long logs though. Write what your
inner muse has to say
Congratulations to Geo Dee for FTF!
