This cache has been archived.

Reviewer Revan: Cache Owner (CO) has not responded, so I am regretfully archiving this cache to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking new cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace this cache sometime in the future (not to exceed 10 days from the date of this entry), just contact me (by e-mail), and assuming it still meets the current Guidelines, I will consider unarchiving this cache.

Please be advised this is not a guarantee that this geocache will be unarchived. Many factors will go into my decision. The most important of which is how you responded to geocachers who tried to communicate with you regarding the problem(s) with this geocache hide and how you communicated with me, the Reviewer Revan.

Geocache Description:

My wife and I really enjoy night caches but there wasn't any on this side of town. So we decided to put one here for everyone to enjoy. This cache is located in a 200 acre park with paved trails. You should park in the parking lot at the Bush Middle School. The reflector trail to the cache begins right behind the Park Pavilion. If you park in the right spot you will be able to see the reflectors indicating the beginning of the trail. If not, just follow the gravel path behind the pavilion and look for the reflectors. You will be able to stay on gravel or concrete for all but about the last 30 feet or so. I really tried to put out plenty of reflectors for you to find your way but there were a couple of short distances where places to put the reflectors were very limited. But if you keep your "eyes on the trail" you shouldn't have any problems. Three reflectors indicate you are at the starting point, one reflector means you are on the right trail, two reflectors mean you need to make a turn and a bunch of reflectors mean you are near the cache.

Even though most of the way to the cache is on a paved trail, this cache is not for those of us who have health problems or are afraid of the dark (or what might be lurking in the dark). The cache is approximately .33 miles from the starting point. Along the way there will be a slight hill to climb and a tunnel to go through and it gets really dark out there in the woods. I almost guarantee everything your flashlight reflects off of won't be the reflectors I put out. You just have to figure out what kind of animal's eyes are shining back at you and decide if you should turn around or continue on. And the noises you hear rustling in the brush alongside the trail might make you a bit nervous too, but they're probably nothing. I'm almost positive there will probably be other surprises in store as well. If you have children old enough to handle the distance or you don't mind carrying them part of way, this would probably be a fun adventure for them too.

In the cache is various glow-in the dark items to include light sticks and bouncy balls. Standard geocaching trade rules apply but I will also try to replenish it as needed. I also left one of my 1st Sgt coins and a $5.00 gas card for the first-to- find. Make sure you sign the log and let me know what you thought about the trip. We hope you all have fun.

Oh! I almost forgot, there is a residential area right outside the park close to the cache and we don't want the folks along there to get upset or find the cache; so Shhhh! Be Very, Very Quiet!
