Geocache Description:

An easy cache placed off a bridleway, easy terrain, will be muddy when wet.

We placed this cache after we decided to move near to the Vangaurd Way - a little known but super bridleway that runs 68 miles from London to Seaford.

The cache is placed just off the Vanguard way at a junction with another footpath, sandwiched between two farms, Beeches and Dry Hill. Along the way you can see 'Dry Hill Fort' a 24 acre site dating back to the first century BC. Horse lovers with love this area too there is always plenty of horse riding going on along the bridelway, there are lots of animals to see around the farms. Bring your wellies/walking boots!

We hope you have fun and enjoy the scenery this area has to offer at 172 metres this is the highest point for some distance and therefore has some stunning views.

The cache is a small click style tupperware, just big enough to hold a logbook, small pencil, standard cache instructions and a few finds. There is no designated parking nearby, you could try park along the B2028 as the vanguard way intersects this road or perhaps along Furnace Lane near to the A264.
