Geocache Description:

DeLorme is the Cache In Trash Out sponsor for 2009 and to celebrate Team DeLorme will be hosting a CITO event on Saturday, May 2nd, from 10am to 4pm.

Come join us for the second CITO event at DeLorme headquarters, home of the world's largest rotating and revolving globe! We're very excited to spend some quality caching time with all of the great geocache friends we've met since our first event last year.

There will be a map where you can show off the day's finds, a safe place to discover trackables, and lots of great giveaways to reward everyone for helping with our local area cleanup! Don't forget about the cookout either—the grill was a big attraction at last year's event and will be up and running for lunch!

Team DeLorme will be on hand from 10am to 4pm. Arrive early to catch up with all of your geocaching friends, sign in, and then head out to help clean up! We'll be providing some special cache locations in areas that need a little extra attention and will also be showing off some of DeLorme's latest geocaching features with our software and GPS devices. Bring any questions you might have and get help from the team.

There is also a Geocachers' Flash Mob in Portland at 1pm that day— WWFM V - Portland, Maine. With Portland only 20 minutes away, there should still be some food left if you want to log both events!

We hope to see you all on Saturday, May 2nd. Please log a Will Attend on this cache page so that we can plan accordingly!

Happy Caching!
