Turn off main road at S 31* 52.993 , E 141*12.968.
Turn left at S 31*52.918 , E 141*12.478
Turn Right at S 31*53.321 , E 141*11.800 into creek bed
Turn Right at S 31*53.359 , E 141*11.492 out of creek
Follow this trail along the ridge up to Ground Zero. Take care on the final pinch to the peak as the trail stops here and there’s nowhere to go but down. If you’re not confident in your vehicle or your own driving ability leave your car at the bottom of this final hill to the peak.
WALKING DIRECTIONS.
This cache can be accessed on foot . 2wd vehicles will get to the start of the walking section, though on a stony dirt road.
Turn off main road at S 31* 52.993 , E 141*12.968.
Turn left at S 31*52.918 , E 141*12.478
Park at S 31°53'4.25" , E 141°12'7.17"
From here cross the bridge and follow the walking trail up the hill. The track winds its way up onto the ridge where it will reach a point where Ground Zero is in a SW direction across a saddle. TAKE CARE AS THIS AREA IS VERY ROCKY AND STEEP.
The walk is approximately 1.5km from the parking location up quite steep hills.
