Geocache Description:

The third Picnic event - the first two were held in the pouring
rain, so why should this one be any different?!

The actual location will be confirmed nearer the time, but you'll have no problem spotting us. It will be on top (Though not at the actually rocky trig point).

Obviously, this is a dinnertime event so 12.20pm for sherry with the picnic at 12.30pm ish or shortly dreckly afterwards

Dress - Formalish or suitable Moorlandwaterproofeventstyle alternative
Please bring waterproofs, umbrellas, tents, bivi bags as required ,but certainly come prepared for rain.

You'll need to bring your picnic as well - something that doesn't get too soggy in the rain would be good.

There may well be a new cache or two placed before the big day -though for those of you who haven't done the nearby 130 cache, this would be a fun one to do.
I can now confirm that Cornwalls first Hamster cache will go live on the day - Kolin the wild Cornish hamster is in place and all ready to be found, straight after the official hamster cache unveiling by our much honoured and special guest.
Parking at the obvious nearest spot is limited - for those who may enjoy a slightly longer walk, I've added two alternatives as waypoints. If you can arrange to share a car with other cachers that also may be useful.
I've uploaded some photos I took today in gorgeous bright sunshine - please don't be disappointed I'm praying for rain for next Sunday, I'm sure we won't be let down. (Yes Gribbin - a 100% refund
