GEOCOIN SWAP!!! This cache should be full of TRACKABLE GEOCOINS at all times! It's starting out today (4/10/2009) with 5 GEOCOINS, and I will be adding more whenever I can. PLEASE ONLY TAKE A GEOCOIN IF YOU ARE LEAVING A GEOCOIN!!! Of course, also feel free to leave a GEOCOIN without taking one! I'd like to eventually make this cache FULL of GEOCOINS! Please place GEOCOINS in this cache only. This is also a TICK-FREE CACHE!!! Log sheet and GEOCOINS only, bring a pen!
Rarely known even to locals, this lake is known as the "4th Lake", even though it is not actually part of the same waterway as my 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Lake Caches. Designated as a NJ Wildlife Preserve, and blocked from view due to forest and development, this lake is all but forgotten. This spot is the only place where you can see this lake. There are some trails that lead to the lake, but they are hard to find. I will try to explore those trails soon and hide a cache or two.
At this location there are also remnants of the TR&W Railroad, mostly just pilings and bulkheads from the old trestle. This railroad ran from Toms River to Waretown, where it junctioned with the Tuckerton Railroad.
There is a WaWa across the street, with restrooms, phones, food, drinks, and fuel.

I really hate to do this, but some people are just totally oblivious! The theme of this cache is a GEOCOIN SWAP!!! It is described in detail on the cache page in the cache description, it's written on the cache cover, it's written inside the cache cover, it's written on the logbook bag, it's written on the logbook cover... It's in the name of the cache itself for crying out loud!!! ONLY TAKE A GEOCOIN IF YOU ARE LEAVING A GEOCOIN!!! DO NOT take a geocoin and leave anything else, like a little plastic disco ball, pink hair clips, spare change, a card with your caching name on it, happy-meal toys, or ANYTHING ELSE!!!! This means that if you do not have a geocoin to leave, DO NOT TAKE ONE!!! ANYTHING besides a GEOCOIN is NOT an acceptable exchange!!! Anything placed in this cache other than a TRACKABLE GEOCOIN will be REMOVED! If you TAKE A GEOCOIN from this cache, you must LEAVE A GEOCOIN in its place!!! This especially means that it is NOT acceptable to take a geocoin, and leave nothing! Which again means that it is NOT acceptable to leave something besides a geocoin in place of nothing! I will say it one more time... If you want to take one of the geocoins from this cache, you must replace it with another geocoin! If you do not have a trackable geocoin to leave, simply sign the log, record your find, and get your smiley.
This cache started with 5 geocoins a couple weeks ago, and now it only has 3! Totally lame!
