Geocache Description:

WELCOME TO THE MCCRACKEN COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY

Upon arriving at the coordinates you will find a nice area to sit, relax and even check out a book to read. You should also be in range of one of Paducah’s free wifi sites making the internet available. Have a seat and log your find. While in the area, visit the nice park and memorial across the street. Since you are already here why not stop in and apply for a library card?

Library cards are free to all residents of the Purchase area. You must have proof of your current address. Non-residents may purchase a card for a fee of $12.50/ 6 months or $25/ year. Non-residents employed in McCracken County may receive a free card with proof of employment. Your card must be presented each time any materials are borrowed or renewed.

Hours of Operation

Monday – Thursday 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Friday – Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Sunday 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
