Living Fence Post Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

Nomex: Hi
As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm temporarily archiving this to keep it from continually showing up in search lists. Just contact us when you have the cache repaired, [RED]and assuming it still meets the guidelines[/RED], we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Don't hesitate to email me via the link on my Profile if you have any questions. [red]Please be sure to include the cache name and GC Code, or better yet, the URL of the cache page.[/red]

Thanks for your cooperation!

Geocache Description:

Long ago, it was common for ranchers to use living trees as fence post, and some still do now. As the trees grow, the wire becomes imbedded in the trees. This causes some trees to die; however, many continue to grow with no apparent harm. It might also be noted that it is not healthy to a chain saw when the tree is being cut into firewood and a section of wire is hidden inside.

This is a three part multi-cache that doesn’t require a lot of walking. All the stages have parking areas close by; please do not block any driveways. This is a pretty busy road so be stealthy. There is no need to go on the property on the other side of any fences so please do not climb over or go through any fences. The property owners know the cache is here, so it is ok to search along and near the fences. You may have to reach through or over or under, but do not go onto any fenced property. All the containers can be retrieved from the road side of the fence. Have fun!

How to find this multi:
For this multi-cache, you will find some information and a question at the first stage. There are three answer choices to the question and each answer has a different coordinate. One answer is correct and two are wrong. The correct answer will get you to the next stage (location) with another clue and question. The wrong answers will get you to bogus locations with nothing to be found. Answer the second question correctly and you will find the cache with the goods. You will have to drive (or walk, easier to drive) to each location, then get out and look. Hope this answers any questions. Happy Caching!

Please note: As with most all multi-caches, you must find all stages to complete the multi-cache and record it as a find. Thanks...Cache On!

As always, please return all containers as you found them so it will be fun for the next cacher to find. Thank you in advance.

Happy Caching!

CONGRATULATIONS BIG BEAR ON THE FTF!
