Stallojärvi

Stallojärvi (Stalojavri) on noin 1,5 km pituinen kapea järvi keskellä Pöyrisjärven erämaata. Järven kaakkaoispään pohjoisrannalla on pieni Metsähallituksen ylläpitämä autiotupa. Lisätietoa alueen palveluista saat osoitteesta: http://www.luontoon.fi tai tästä linkistä

Kätkörasia on litran pakasterasia. Se on piilotettu Stallokurun rinteessä olevien kivipaasien koloon. Piilotushetkellä lunta oli paikalla varsin paksulti, vaikka lunta tänä talvena ei ollutkaan kovin runsaasti. Kätkön löytäminen talviaikaan on varsin mahdollista. Toki tuuli voi kasata lumen niin, että rasia peittyy. Tänä talvena piilotuskohta oli pysynyt lemettomana.


Stallojärvi (Stalojavri) is a 1.5 km long narrov lake in the middle of Pöyrisjärvi wilderness area. At the southeast end of the lake on the northern shore of lake resides a small mountain hut maintained by Metsähallitus. The cache box is 1 liter plastic container. It’s hidden in a hole of big stone blocks on the slope of Stallokuru. There was lot of snow at the hiding moment on this area though there was not lot of snow in this winter. It’s possible to find this cache in winter. It’s also possible that wind can gather snow on the cache box. In this winter the hiding spot was snowless.
