Geocache Description:

EN: Cache placed in the beautiful Dotnuva Park in small town Akademija.

LT: Lobis pasleptas nuostabiame Dotnuvos dvaro parke, Akademijoje.

Dotnuvos dvaras žinomas nuo XVI a. Jis priklause didikams Izakovskiams, Mleckams, Bžostovskiams, Šcytams, Gradauskams. XIX a. pirmojoje puseje priklause grafams Chrapovickiams, kurie puikiai sutvarke dvara. Cia viešejo caras Aleksandras I su žmona Jekaterina. 1867 m. Dotnuva parduoda iš varžytiniu grafui Šuvalovui. XIX a. viduryje grafas Kreicas (1817 – 1891) aplink dvara užveise nuostabu parka, kuris ir dabar yra miestelio puošmena.

Dotnuvos dvare 1919 m. isteigta Žemes ukio ir mišku mokykla. 1922 m. ji pavadinta Žemes ukio technikumu. 1924 m. isteigta Žemes ukio akademija, kuri 1947 m. iškelta i Kauna, o gyvenviete iki šiol vadinama Akademija.
