Carpenter’s Down Series is a small nice ring of some 15 caches in a quite part north of Basingstoke, a walk just over 6km.
Bring a Pen/Pencil to log this cache.
The woods off Carpenters Down Road used to be a rifle range. The range was there long before the Second World War.
I would suggest you put your dog(s) and/or kid(s) on the lead! (LOL) in two areas, as a small part of the route is on the main road (between 10 & 11, so please be careful), and some construction work (between 11 & 12, I have been informed that the footpath is still open, again please be careful).
Enjoy the walk as much as we did, don’t forget your wellies, and get the dog bath ready!
