Just off HiWay 160, near the flood control basin. 12 Jan 2012 I was doing cache maintenance and got jumped by a BLM ranger who informed me that the area is CLOSED TO MOTOR VEHICLES so park at the edge of the HiWay and walk in.
Was in the area catching a few caches in the canyons and plateaus around here and came upon the Sportsmans' Lodge. You'll laugh when you get there.
Left a thingy that Clay4 will appreciate -- assuming he's FTF -- and why wouldn't we assume that?

This note from Doc Webe on 30 May 09: It is said there is a Gila monster living here, I don't know if other cachers know this but NDOW supports on-going Gila monster research projects and because it is so rare to see one in the wild, folks are strongly encouraged to report those sightings to NDOW (702)46-5127 Ext. 3718. Witnesses should provide date, time, habitat circumstances, and pictures are really great..don't forget those coordinates!
