Walk down a newly redone recreational trail to a trestle. This trestle was built in 1925 and now has been recently rebuilt. You can stand on it and watch the Machias river run by. There used to be railroad tracks here that ran to Eastport. President Roosevelt would board the train and ride to Eastport then get on a boat and go the rest of the way to Campobello Island.
