Geocache Description:

You are searching for a lock n lock container. The cache located at the Chito Branch Reserve, a 5,500-acre tract in southeast Hillsborough County.

Just a short walk south from here to oak hammocks, pine flatwoods and cypress domes. You may have a water crossing depending on how much rain we get.

Please sign in at the information board in the parking area near the trailhead, and note that you're there to geocache. SWFWMD purchased this property in 2001 and it was recently opened to recreational users. Some trails are still closed to hikers, bikers and horses because of ongoing restoration projects.
