Geocache Description:

You will visit one of the least known parks in Austin. It has no playground equipment, but has one of the nicest viewing areas around. It would be one of the finest lots around if it were ever sold to the private sector. Enjoy the view from the top of the hill and the creek at the bottom.

You will need to venture down a grassy hill and back up again. This used to be a favorite sledding hill in many years past. There used to be a tobaggon jump built for winter fun for adults. Youngsters would try this too if they could get away with it. Seven or eight kids would get on the long tobaggon and aim it just right so it would go over the jump built into the side of the hill. Away they would go with the tobaggon getting airborne, never thinking about the approaching landing.

This is a nice area for your kids to hike down the hill to the Turtle Creek edge.

The cache is a green painted peanut butter jar. It contains small trading items and a log. Bring your own pen.

The cache will hold trackables and contains trade items. If you take a coin or TB out, please put a coin or TB back in. Everyone enjoys trackables. Thanks.
