How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

A series of 8 caches + a bonus cache, along byways and small lanes. These can all be legally driven with a 4X4, cycled with a mountain bike or walked. The whole series is approximately 17 miles long. (Apart from the bonus cache, the byways seem to have all been resurfaced with tarmac scrappings recently so are very easy drives, no mud plugging here, sorry.)

No. 1 is a small container which contains a clue for the final bonus cache.

Although these caches are all placed on legal byways, be a responsible off-roader and ensure that the lane is suitable for driving without damaging it. It is your responsibility to check that they are not any temporary closures. Do not attempt any section that you are not confident your vehicle or you will manage safely (there is a couple of 18 inch to 24 inch deep fords.)

This cache is marked as suitable for quad bikes and motorbikes, but only if they are road legal and taxed and the rider has a valid license. Normal laws of the road apply. Please be courteous to other byway users, turn off your engine while they pass.
