An easy stop to drop off and pick up travelbugs if you are heading East or West along the Ohio I-80 I-90 Turnpike.
Below is a picture of the original items placed in the cache on 4/30/09. Three frisbees, a pair of binoculars, some hand warmers, star wars poker cards, a watch band, some pens, an organizer, a book on global warming, and FIVE cache containers.
If you find a cache container here and use it to create a new cache please send me the GC number of the new cache and I will list it here.
I had placed about a dozen caches before this one but this was my first traditional geocache so I also included a bag with some special items in it. I asked those that could correctly explain the significance of the items they pay homage to, to please post the answer in their log. The bag contained the same items as those placed in the very first geocache including a can of beans. These items soon disappeared but just over a year later someone returned the can of beans to me.
The Geobash is held right down the road from this cache and local cachers were encouraged to drop off cache descriptions, bookmark list, NWOGEO swag, or anything else that the out of town cachers might find useful.
We had to relocate and things are a little different now but here are pictures of the first two containers if you missed them.
