Another quiet hidden beach along the Woongarra Coast. Terrain is
relatively flat on a marked trail. Park at S24 48.243 E152 27.314.
Walk pass the Sporting ground towards Ground Zero, you will see a
walking trail leading to the Caches Location.
The name "Caretta" is a latinization of the French "caret", meaning
turtle, Not far from here is Mon Repos Conservation Park, During
nesting season Adult Female Sea Turtles come up to lay there eggs
during the month of November to March. The Cache is an Ammo tin
with plenty of room for all your swaps. Cache is well stocked. Be
the first for some great swaps for the kids.
