Kismet

Kis"met\, noun 1) [Persian qismat.] Destiny; fate.

2) (Islam) the will of Allah.

WARNING: This cache was placed during the Iraq war on a base of the coalition forces. This location is likely now controlled by the Iraqi Military, but this may change. Please take care to obtain appropriate permission before attempting this cache and do not cross any barriers from public rights of ways.





Pictured above is the 2nd ammo can I found while out caching in the
sandbox. The Al Faw palace can be seen in the background and
Blackhawk's like the two seen above are a frequent sight
here.

The can itself was apparently discarded because of the bullet holes
that you can see in the picture. They seem to be of a rather large
caliber. I found the can at the Al Tahreer cache which is only 0.13
miles north.

The best way to approach the cache is to go right through the fire
station via its entrance at the corner of Ruth Drive and the North
40 Loop. I placed some dead brush above the cache to better conceal
the hide, Please replace the cache and the cover back as found so
it lasts a long time!
