A cache to celebrate the opening (4/2009) of the new Savannah Trail!
The Savannah Trail is 2.8 miles long, and goes through beautiful grasslands on the western edge of Coyote Lake Harvey Bear County Park. This cache marks the intersection of the Savannah Trail and the Sancho San Ysidro.
Volunteers came out on Earth Day 2009 to perform the finishing touches on the trail and officially open it. This is one of two caches placed on the new trail that day to draw folks to it.
Cache is a lock-n-lock plastic container, and contains rubber duckies.
