Maidstone Park Lookout
On the upper boundary of Maidstone Park there is a viewing platform, some 167m above sea level, that has been erected which to the east gives views over Upper Hutt City and to the west the picturesque Whitemans Valley. To the south there sits a suburb known as Trentham; it is a suburb and not a city...
About the cache
The cache consists of a small camo'd Sistema container. It only has room for small trades, the odd Geocoin, and when placed contained some All Blacks tattoos, a logsheet, pencil and sharpener.
About the location
Please note that the trails in the park are frequented by walkers, cyclists, joggers, etc, all of whom can appear very suddenly and without warning so please show some stealth when searching for the cache or be prepared to act like a thespian when compromised!
Please also make sure that the cache is replaced *exactly* as found as we don't want this to go MIA!
I am using a log sheet for all Geocachers to record their discoveries and comments, so that when it is full, I can scan the logsheet and attach its image to this cache entry as an archive! Please let me know when the logsheet is nearing maintenance time and I will supply a new sheet.
