To get to the Cache you must access the Rogers Trail head. In the Rogers area of Ute Lake State Park.
There are 2 trails that will get you close. One to the south and one to the west. This part of Ute Lake Nature trail in new and a extension to the old trail that starts at the Logan Park area. It is about 1/2 mile hike but well worth much more then that. The two trail heads make a loop so if you take one in you can take the other out and enjoy the wildlife and beautiful views and amazing rock formations. Or you can Walk the whole trail starting from one trail head or another. The trail is basceoursed and a great walking surface for all ages. You can often see a group of foxes in the area playing at the waters edge. Or you may find some of the deer that bed in the area. Please be kind to nature and enjoy your hunt for this cache! If you make it to this cache around sunset make sure you have your camera it will be well worth it.
Watch for snakes!
