Let the Revolution begin! Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

MadMin: I attempted to contact the owner of Let the Revolution begin! to find out about the status of this cache on October 7, 2009. I have received no response from the owner on the cache page or via email. Because of that I'm afraid I have to archive this cache.

I will be more than happy to review this cache again and (hopefully) reinstate it once you have corrected any issues with the cache. please contact me via ma.reviewer@gmail.com to do so.

Please note that unarchiving a cache page places it through the same review process as a newly proposed cache, using the cache placement guidelines currently in effect.

Geocache Description:

Welcome to historic Ft. Phoenix. Built between 1775-1777 to protect the entrance to New Bedford harbor. It was armed with 11 cannons some that were captured by the famous Jean Paul Jones. In Sept. of 1778 the British attacked and destroyed the original fort and it was rebuilt and renamed Ft. Phoenix after the mythical bird that rose from the ashes.

Enjoy the view of Buzzards Bay the site of our first naval battle in which local militia captured two British sloops. Bring a pencil for this micro and beware of muggles!!

**Please Note** This is a Nano Cache container....There is a Letter Box in very close proximety to the cache, don't confuse them but certainly check out the Letter Box.

Initials only in the log please!
