You may park on the roadside at the posted coordinates, and then proceed to follow the instructions, in typical letterbox hybrid fashion.
Please do not search for this cache until after 6:00 a.m., Saturday May 2, 2009. It is in place for the Cache-O-Max Event (GC1MK10).
Start at the posted coordinates (on the west side of the road). Approach the gate. From the gate, go approximately 170 paces to the next large orange marker down the trail. The cache is located on the same side of the trail as the marker, just a few paces further. It is bigger than a small, but smaller than a regular.
Feel free to use the stamp in the container to mark your own notebook if you are collecting letterbox stamps from other caches. Also, use your own geocaching name stamp if you have one to record your visit in the official log book, and add the date you signed.
This cache was inspired by a popular reality show that has been airing since 2000.
This trail is only maintained in winter when it is used by snowmobilers. In summer, it makes an ideal mountain-biking or dog-walking path. Always be prudent to others using this pathway.
