Large roadside cemetery on a hillside. There's a beautiful Memorial here too. Quite steep to get to the cache location.
Magnet. Watchout for wasps. Found a number of nests near cache container, so look before you reach.
This is the oddest thing I think I've found in a cemetery. No explanation given until I received this email (thanks Darren):It is the bell from the church that used to be located where the granite benches/monuments are located in the lower right part of the property. When the church was torn down, the bell was put up there as a reminder/memorial etc. There also used to be an older church at this location on the flat spot of land to the left/in front of the main gate to the cemetery. I thought you would be interested to know this and I might see if the cemetery committee would put a plaque up on the bell giving some kind of explanation, as it would be nice for passerbys. Also, it is pronounced Mel-an-thon creek, if you were curious or didn't know, i see one of the loggers was wondering. Thanks a ton for the cache! Many relatives located on those grounds!
