The area around Burn Banks is very pleasant and the views get better as height is gained. Good tracks lead around the hillocks and through the bracken. Small crags jut out of the hillside and one or two large boulders stand out. They appear to be glacial erratics - rocks dropped by melting glaciers at the end of the last ice age. One is on our route and seemed like a handy spot for a cache. It's perched on a sloping slab and has an air of being poised, ready to roll with just a good push from the back! One can only hope it doesn't more while you're reaching for the cache!
Directions: From HH0 head west on the obvious track towards the next crag. Round the crag then NW up onto the top and a bracken free expanse of hill. Continuing NW until picking up another big track heading west, then approaching HH1 from the NE is the easiest route, but go as you please, many options.
Please re-hide the cache so it can't move/slide. It's in an experimental camo bag.
