This cache is in memory of a very special man.
Mr. Phil Marks was as fine a gentleman as anyone could ever hope to meet. Born in 1917, he spent his whole life in Renovo. The only son of a clothing shop owner, Phil would grow up to take over the business instead of fullfilling his life's dream of becoming a lawyer. After all, his Dad died and someone needed to take over the family business. This came soon after returning from serving the in the US Army in WWII. Phil never married but had a special relationship with a local girl who survives him. He welcomed all to his shop "Sol Marks Clothing" and, on any given day, one of the neighbors or even an out-of-towner (like me) could be found in his shop, chatting away. He never forgot a name or any stories told to him. He was a very special man. Mr. Marks was fiercely patriotic. Mr., Marks' grave is in close proximity to this cache. Stop and say "hi". No flowers are necessary , as he is allergic to them. congratulations to Sparkjumper for being FTF! A $5 lotto ticket yielded $100!!!
