Coincy - La hottée du diable Mystery Cache

D'étranges rochers sont amassés à Coincy au cœur du Tardenois. On raconte qu'ils étaient transportés par le diable qui apeuré par le chant du coq, renversa sa hotte de blocs de grès. La Hottée du diable, chaos de rochers de grès aux formes étranges est un site propice aux imaginations fertiles.
Nombre d'artistes, peintres, sculpteurs et écrivains y ont trouvé l'inspiration. Le dramaturge Paul Claudel décrivait les lieux ainsi : « Les grès mystérieux aux formes fantastiques parmi les bouleaux, les bruyères et les sables. »
Pour atteindre cet énigmatique endroit, il faut s'enfoncer dans la forêt de Coincy, dans le canton de Fère-en-Tardenois. Les essences de bouleaux, de sapins et de chênes se mélangent à la bruyère, vestige d'une exploitation pastorale.
Parcourez deux cents mètres sur un sentier sablonneux pour enfin arriver à la butte dégagée sur laquelle repose ce fatras de grosses pierres grisâtres.

Avertissement : Ce lieu est protégé, veuillez ne pas enjamber les barrières qui délimitent des zones où la végétation est fragile. Ouvrez bien les yeux car vous pourrez voir un ou des specimens de lézard vert. Afin de respecter ces consignes, faire les différentes étapes dans l’ordre de la description. La dernière étape avant la cache sera faite en contournant la butte par le bas et en suivant le chemin balisé par des barrières en bois.

Strange rocks are stranded at the heart of Coincy Tardenois. It is said that they were transported by the devil which frightened by the singing of the rooster, overthrew his hood blocks of sandstone.
"Hottée" of the devil, chaos of sandstone rocks with strange forms is a site conducive to the fertile imaginations.
Many artists, painters, sculptors and writers have found inspiration. Playwright Paul Claudel described the scene thus: "The mysterious sandstone fantastic forms among birch, heather and sand.”
To achieve this enigmatic place, you have to go to the forest of Coincy in the canton of Fere-en-Tardenois. The species of birch, fir and oak mix with heather, a relic of a pastoral holding. Walk two hundred meters on a sandy path to finally get to clear the mound on which this welter of large gray stones.

Warning: This site is protected, please do not cross the barriers that demarcate areas where vegetation is fragile. Well open your eyes because you can see one or more specimens of green lizard. To comply with these instructions, do the different steps in the order of description. The last step before the cache will be made around the hill to the bottom and follow the path marked by wooden barriers.

Rendez-vous à N 49° 10.983 E 003° 26.623. Pour vous y rendre, prenez le chemin balisé, redescendre la butte et la contourner par le bas. Vous vous trouverez alors devant :

• une pierre représentant un visage d’enfant Z=7
• des arbres , une flêche rouge dessinée sur l’un d’eux Z=1
• un trou d’eau bordé de roseaux Z=8
