has announced the grand opening of this
link in the Trans Canada Trails.
Geocachers experienced and new are
invited to tour the 9.5 kilometers of
trail, through some of the best hiking areas of Near North
Ontario.
If your goal is excercise or hunting for Tupperware, you
are invited to join us in celebrating this new link.
This is a wonderful opportunity to meet with local cachers and
chat about your favourite subjects.
We have been invited by Discovery Routes, to enjoy their trails,
and feel free to geocache on any trail within their
jurisdiction.
Today, we will being meeting with trail enthusiasts,
muggles, potential
geocachers, and those interested in
continuing the tradition of hiking with a goal in mind.
Our goal today is to have fun, explore the
trails, participate in planned activities, and if you have the
inclination, assist the organizers in introducing trail enthusiasts
to the wonderful world of Geocaching.
If you are willing to donate some of your valuable time, after the
initial Meet ‘n’ Greet, the trail organizers are requesting that
experienced cachers help teach the use
of GPSr and the introduction to caching
for enthusiastic visitors. Please indicate in your "will attend
log, if you are willing to help.
