Geocache Description:

I have placed this cache to bridge the gap between Groveport and Grove City. There are not many caches in this area, and I think this small community often gets overlooked. Feel free to explore the area on your visit.

Also please check out the villages website. If you feel like contacting them please mention that you found out about their village through "Geocaching". Thank you.

----Congratulations to Ohcat & Groffster for the First to Find---

**** Do Not Attempt this Cache if the Park is Flooded *****

Terrain Level: I increased this to a 3.5 due to summer and spring conditions (bugs, thick bushwhacking, and possible wet soil) During the winter and fall conditions should be more like a 2 to 2.5 terrain.

*Congratulations! to ericsima for being the 10th to find!!*

ABOUT THE CACHE:

This is a TWO STAGE Cache. The first stage is a small with the coordinates to the final cache, the final cache is medium to large. This cache was originally a five stage cache, please ignore the “clue” in the first cache and go to the indicated “GO TO” coordinates highlighted in orange.

The final cache some climbing may be required, please take care to replace the cache as found. There is no need for knives on this cache so please keep that in mind.

The terrain for this cache varies with the seasons. If you are a bushwhacking junky, it is best to go in the late spring early summer through early Fall. If you are a more relaxed geocacher and would simply like to enjoy the area with out being bothered by bugs and weed rash it is best found in late fall through early spring.

Be weary of beaver holes!! They are easiest seen during later fall through early spring and more hidden and tougher to spot during full growth and snow cover.

LEGAL MUMBO JUMBO and RECOMMENDATIONS for a great experience:

This cache is set in the Village of Lockbourne, Ohio permission for this cache has been given by the village council and local land owners.

Please enter the wooded area as noted as not to disturb the historical landmarks else ware in the park. And remember Please replace the cache how you found it, this is a unique cache and requires some thinking, everything you need to get it is there NO KNIFES PLEASE.

BONUS:

There is a letter box near the first stage of this cache located near the coordinates listed above, it is a small lock and lock box and is not the first stage of the cache. If you are a letter boxer bring your stamp for an extra bonus. Either way its always fun to find something new and uncharted.

** 02/10/2013 - I changed the Terrain level to 3.0 and will leave it there instead of changing it through the seasons.
