Geocache Description:

Supermarket Sweep - Nicosia 8

A cache in a series of ten in the greater Nicosia area. All caches in the series are placed near supermarkets.

Inspired by the Limassol Supermarket Sweep placed by The Platonas Two, we decided to bring this idea to the capital of the island. It can be very useful to have the GPS point you in the direction of a good supermarket while visiting a new location. Our hopes are that visitors and residents alike will enjoy the possibility to shop and cache at the same time. We have picked major supermarkets and some slightly smaller ones to cover most of the greater Nicosia area.

To cache in very muggle dense areas without drawing attention to oneself is a different challenge to geocaching. Very possibly you will spot the hiding place quickly, but then you need to work out how to retrieve the cache without anyone noticing what you are up to.

The cache is a magnetic micro only containing a log sheet so please bring a pen/pencil to log. Replace the cache in the same spot as you found it; it is crucial for its survival.
