Esta capela a muito que è razão para discutas territoriais pois encontra-se na fronteira de duas freguesias, mas como está num local isolado só serve para discutir a sua localização e quanto ao aproveitamento histórico que deveria ser recuperado nada se faz, fica aqui esta cache num local onde na 2ª feira de Páscoa se realiza uma festa espectacular.

esta capilla larga sido el motivo para argumentar a favor territorial se sitúa en la frontera de dos parroquias, pero como está en un lugar aislado sólo sirve para discutir la ubicación de AA en la historia el uso de recuperación se ha hecho, es aquí, en este caché donde el 2 º lunes de Pascua se celebra una fiesta espactacular donde la iglesia no llega al almuerzo y una copa es un espectáculo

Figueiró do Campo
Situada no extremo Nordeste do Concelho, confinando com os vizinhos de Condeixa-a-Nova e Montemor-o-Velho, encontramos a Freguesia de Figueiró do Campo com 11,3 Km2 para 1672 habitantes. FIGUEIROLA é como se encontra grafado o topónimo na primeira notícia que se lhe refere e que remonta ao ano de 1121. Em 1517, esta freguesia pertencia ao termo de Montemor-o-Velho e, em 1840, estava integrada no Concelho de Santo Varão; em 1853 é definitivamente integrada no Concelho de Soure. Poucos foram os testemunhos que nos chegaram dessas épocas longínquas, manifestados sobretudo na arquitectura; ainda hoje, a Quinta do Paço deixa transparecer essa grandiosidade.
Santo Varão
A freguesia situa-se na margem esquerda do Rio Mondego e é constituída, na sua quase totalidade, por campos de cultivo (os famosos campos do Mondego). Tem uma área de 11,8 Km2 de terrenos planos e de baixa altitude, é servida por estradas e atravessada pela linha de caminho-de-ferro do Norte, tendo estação privativa. Dista 10 Km da sede de concelho.

Evolução Histórica
Esta região teve povoamento desde épocas bastante recuadas, como pode ser comprovado pelos achados romanos encontrados em Formoselha e que actualmente se encontram no Museu Municipal da Figueira da Foz.
No que diz respeito às referências documentais, existe uma referência a Fermozelha que data de 915, sendo portanto a localidade anterior à Nacionalidade. Posteriormente, em 1221, o papa Honório III confirmou "lugares e terras" doados pelos reis D. Afonso Henriques e D. Sancho I e entre eles encontrava-se Fermozelha, o que atesta a importância da povoação.
Em 1503, o rei D. Manuel I concedeu carta de privilégios aos moradores de Fermoseli e o foral manuelino dado a Montemor-o-Velho menciona o lugar de Sanverão (Santo Varão).
As terras de Formoselha foram couto da Marquesa de Castro Forte, enquanto o lugar de Santo Varão era pertença do bispo de Coimbra, juntamente com Arazede.
Santo Varão chegou a ser sede de concelho em 1836, incluindo as freguesias de Pereira do Campo, Santo Varão, Granja do Ulmeiro, Alfarelos e Figueiró do Campo. O concelho foi extinto em 1853 e a freguesia anexada ao concelho de Montemor-o-Velho.
Património Cultural e Edificado
Para além dos vestígios arqueológico encontrados na freguesia e actualmente no Museu Municipal da Figueira da Foz, destacam-se nos monumentos, a Igreja Matriz dedicada a S. Martinho, as capelas de Nossa Senhora do Amparo e Nossa Senhora da Tocha, em Santo Varão, a Capela de Nossa Senhora da Nazaré, em Casal dos Machados, e a Capela de Santo António, em Formoselha.

Figueiró Field
