A small cache in a generally quieter side of Steele Lake Park that should be an easy find for new cachers or kids.
5-12-12 The cache had moved to a very exposed location. I've moved it back closer to the original location but that item has been completely destroyed. The hint has been revised.
Steele Lake Park has seen many caches come and go over the years. Please make sure to carefully hide the cache after you are finished so that it can have a long, log-filled life. After all, I don't want someone to steal this cache.
A simple cache in a hiding spot that you may overlook at first. The cache is at least 10 feet from the fence so don't bother the neighbors. The camo'd small lock-n-lock style container can hold small trade items. But you'd better hurry; it could disappear at any time.
(May 12, 2009. This was intended to be an easy find in an unusual hiding spot. The hint has been changed to help you zero in more easily.)
And as with all Federal Way City Parks, this one is closed at dusk, or 9 PM, whichever comes first.
