You can see the cell tower from a distance, rising high above this historic marker in Brighton. It describes where the original Erie Canal once crossed through the farmlands of Brighton. You can retrace the steps of those weary pack mules going across Monroe Avenue, now filled with modern taverns that Sal (the mule) and her owner could never have imagined.
